How do they work?

The Roots act as a vasodilator by reducing inflammation so your capillaries open up and flow better. This leads to better circulation and ability for the medicine to be pushed into the body better. With less inflammation, your whole body works better and feels better which ultimately leads to less pain.

What does it help with?

Our members have reported back that with the use of Roots, the following ailments have been improved immensely:  every day aches and pains, fibromyalgia, gout, burns, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, lupus, hemorrhaging from childbirth, stopping seizures, reducing the pain after a heart attack, reducing the size of tumors, degenerative disc disease and much more. A good way to help understand why the Roots work so well for our foundational circulation system is to keep in mind that the root of the cannabis plant like all plants are good for your lower body, the branches and stems for your upper body and the buds and flowers for your head. When hearing it like that, most cannabis users understand it better because we use the buds and flowers for our head. It only makes sense that the Roots help with the lower body. Also keep in mind that a lot of plants are most effective when using the root. Ginger, echinacea, ginseng and turmeric are just a few of the powerhouse roots to mention. There is so much more to learn about this plant and it really does start at the Roots. Don’t throw away your Roots!

How do I use them?

Just one capsule a day is effective for improving circulation. It is best to be taken with food and preferably a high-fat food. You could always take youe Roots with a small spoonful of coconut oil too. Some patients say they help with sleep so they take their dose at bedtime.

What are Terpenes?

Terpenes are organic hydrocarbons found in the essential oils of plants. There are over 100 different identified terpenes in the cannabis plant. The terpenes are what make the plant smell and taste the way it does. Every strain has a different combination of terpenes which makes every strain smell and taste different than the others. If you keep in mind that the terpenes in the flowers are sweet and tasty to drive you to the plant, the terpenes in the Roots are bitter to deter pests.

It’s safe to say that the terpenes we find in the Roots will never be found in the flowers. The active compounds in the Roots contain a terpene called friedelin and a triterpenoid epifriedenol. Because of that, we will never be able to get the results we get with the Roots from the flowers. That is why we have to start incorporating the Roots into our whole plant medicine, being that all parts work way better synergistically. We can still use them on their own for their healing properties as well.
